MEET YOUR CHAMBERS COUNTY DIETITIAN

Hey, I’m Laura.

I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a passion for helping people build a more realistic and sustainable approach to food—one that fits into everyday life without the pressure of strict dieting.

My approach is rooted in personalization, education, and long-term behavior change. I focus on helping clients build confidence in their food choices, improve their relationship with food, and develop habits that feel sustainable beyond short-term goals.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Foods from the University of Houston and my Master of Science in Nutrition from Keiser University. My background includes clinical nutrition, community nutrition, and food service management, along with training in motivational interviewing and experience working with diverse populations, including food-insecure communities.

I also have specialized training in GLP-1 nutrition therapy, which allows me to support clients in maintaining adequate nutrition, navigating appetite changes, and building sustainable eating patterns while using these medications.

At the core of my practice is a simple belief:

SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT

After scheduling your appointment, you'll be directed to complete your intake forms and upload any relevant health records or recent lab results (if available). Reviewing this information beforehand allows me to better understand your health history, identify key areas of focus, and make the most of our time together during your initial session.

INITIAL SESSION

Our first session will be dedicated to assessing your current wellness and nutrition history so we can create a plan that is personalized to fit your unique needs and goals. This session is 60 minutes.

FOLLOW-UP SESSIONS

We’ll continue to meet as needed to help you meet your goals, develop new goals, and navigate any challenges that may come up along the way. These sessions are 30 to 45 minutes.
